A little bit darker than the Rome model, it was designed for saxophonists who want a powerful, very projective and not excessively bright sound. Its step baffle of average length, about one third of the window, is shared by both types of chambers available for this model. As a matter of fact, the Florence model is available in the medium chamber and big chamber versions. The first one is characterized by easier sound emission (smaller volume of the chamber, less concave window walls) and a very centred and compact sound; the second one by greater body and deeper sound (real big chamber, concave window walls), particularly detectable in the medium-low and low register of the instrument.
