It is characterized by a step baffle of average length, about one third of the window, shared by both types of chamber available for this model. The Florence model is available in the medium chamber and big chamber versions. The first one is characterized by easy emission (flat window walls perpendicular to the beak) and a centred sound; the second one by greater body, a deeper and more complex sound (big chamber, concave window walls). The latter also has a less bright timber, compared to the medium chamber, and makes it a little more similar to the sound of traditional mouthpieces (roll-over baffle).
