The Syracuse model was designed for musicians who look for a traditional, warm and full sound as well<\/p>\n

as timbre homogeneity and great projection. Its short roll-over baffle, flowing into a medium-large<\/p>\n

chamber, provides the Syracuse model with a full, not excessively dark timbre. The window walls are<\/p>\n

concave in order to ensure an obvious timbre depth in all registers. The shank is made of bronze, the<\/p>\n

same material used in our metal mouthpieces, and plated with 24-carat gold. The Syracuse model is<\/p>\n

available in both ebonite and hard rubber. The composition of the latter includes a higher percentage of<\/p>\n

natural rubber, providing the mouthpiece with different harmonic features from ebonite, which are<\/p>\n

surely more complex. The Syracuse model is recommended for those who prefer a dark sound but still<\/p>\n

holding a certain brightness, as well as a good balance between resistance and sound projection.<\/p>\n
